Microgaming Takes the Stand at ICE Totally Gaming

ICE Totally Gaming exhibition in February at ExCel London saw Microgaming online gaming software company present an immersive stand with a different theme on each day. The company has hosted it's Microgaming Bar at this event for the past decade but this year they added a new twist by transforming the stand overnight into different immersive experiences.

A Jurassic World theme was their first presentation. The shark-eating Mosasauru featured in that movie was replicated and the immersion was completed by a World full of dinosaur eggs and mosquitoes preserved in amber.

Day two guests were presented with a flash mob-style performance from the West End's cast of Phantom of the Opera. The final day showed the real-time construction of a 1.5 m ornate castle which is a key castle in the Castle Builder II game. Visitors were able to witness the build while immersed in a medieval-themed bar complete with banner, flags, stone wall and oaken barrels.

Anna McChesney, PR manager at Microgaming, said: "As ICE draws to a close, what better way to celebrate than by building our very own sand castle, grain by grain, level by level. The original Castle Builder game was very popular, and we expect the second instalment to be bigger and better. Today we are giving our customers a teaser of what's to come in the achievements-based game, launching later in the year."
